Hey guys! It’s Vicki! I’m hijacking Amber’s blog today!!! Actually it’s the least I can do since she is slaving over my new blog design as we speak (yessss, I’m getting ready to jump-ship to WordPress!!!) Andddd since Amber’s been asking me to guest post for awhile, I figured it was time I finally did!
I’m getting ready to leave for my third cruise next week! I love cruises. I want to see the world on a cruise ship! One of my life dreams is to go on one of those 20-30 day cruises, I think that would be AMAZING!
The first cruise I ever went on was to the Carribean … and I really and truly fell in love with cruising. There is something just so amazing and peaceful about being on a boat in open seas with no land in sight … and the ship?! Crazy. Anything and everything you could ever want or need can be found on a cruise ship … And the food is to die for too! LOL!
The second cruise we went on was an Alaskan cruise. I felt very lucky to be on that cruise, I mean how many twenty-somethings can say they’ve not only taken a cruise to Alaska but also RODE IN A HELICOPER?! That was an amazing experience … you can read more about my helicopter ride here.
This time we are going back to the Carribean but to some islands we have never been to before … To say I am super excited is an understatement. I cannot wait to dig my toes into the warm sand, and feel the heat of the sun on my face and the sound of the ocean and the peace of the water … I am looking forward to the week away and spending some much needed relaxation time with my sweetheart …. as well as diving into a book or two (or three?) on my Kindle …….. ahhh it sounds like paradise and I just cannot wait!!! Nine days to go (but really, whose counting?!)
